I'm in love with my Z31... but it had a serius mechanical problem on the inyection system that fires all the engine room, This damage all the wiring and other subsystems. Because the engine have more than 180.000 kms, and its warm its so high, because the previous owner didn't pay any attention to the mantenience, I need to invertan high amount of money to put it ok... Becouse that, plus the need to dissasemble the gearbox for a new set of drive shaft bearings, and a pair of rear brake diskc and calipers, plus the amount of rush of the body.... My car is claiming for a fully restoration to like new status. Because that, my girlfriend any me decided to make a fully restoration, including on it a new engine and trasmision, restorig the intriors, puting new backets and so on. Just now, the plans are putting a R32GTR drive train: Rb26DETT + Gear box with ATTESA ETS + Super HICAS + R32 braking system, and rigidificating, sanding, repating and rush protection all the body shape, including FRP parts like wings, bonnet and so on to save weight. Yes its soexpensive, but my Z31 is my love, and he worth the effort! |
