Engine/Turbo/Drivetrain: Stock 85 300ZX non-turbo shortblock (9:1 compression) with low miles, turbocharged. T3/T04S(AKA 60-1) with stage 3 turbine: stock t3 .63A/R exhaust housing bored for stage 3 turbine, stock center section, .70A/R T04S compressor. Greddy Profec B Spec 2 electonic boost controller. Cartech fuel management unit. Innovate! Technology LM-1 Wideband O2 sensor Walbro 255lph fuel pump. Nissan 300ZX TT (Z32) fuel filter. Cretified Muffler 3" turbo back exhaust. "Custom" using dyno-max race magnum "mufflers", ported out O2 sensor elbow. K&N 9" cone filter. Flow-through compressor inlet/engine mount. Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley. Bell Intercoolers intercooler assembly with my own custom made 2.25" piping, silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps. APEX'i blow off valve Heads home-ported and finished using cross-buffs Performance 3 angle valve job with valves backcut. JWT high performance single valve springs. Schneider Racing Cams re-ground camshfts. Specs. "Morgan's" adjustable cam gears. Hayden performance engine oil cooler. Electric fan conversion (from a honda accord, I think). Nissan OEM headgaskets w/ asbestos (the very best, proven to hold 30PSI boost). NOS universal "wet" single fogger kit. ACT 6-Puck race clutch. 1988 300ZX Turbo transmission AKA "indestructable" OBX short throw shifter for 240SX fitted to 88 Turbo Transmission. Custom driveshaft made for 2+2 with new greasable joints. R200 clutch type limited-slip differential. 88T half shafts. Suspension/Brakes: 88T suspension swap. Prothane complete poly suspension bushing set. 88-89 tension rods. Koni Rallysport anti-roll bars (1 1/8" front and fully adjustable rear). 88SS (NisMo) springs, stiffest available drop-in springs; stock ride height. Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable dampers. Prothane poly rear crossmember bushings. Cusco Type OS front strut bar. Custom "solid" differential mount. Alignment settings: Rear 1/4" toe in, Front 1/8" toe out. Z32 Quad 30mm Piston calipers (front). 88T vented rear rotors. PDM racing front Z32 caliper conversion lines. Goodridge stainless steel braided brake hoses, synthetic hi-temp fluid. Axxis Metalmaster brake pads. Cosmetics/Tires/Wheels/Sound: Lo-Tek a-pillar 3 gauge pod with boost, oil temp, AFR (from wideband). Autometer guages. Momo steering wheel and shift knob. Complete grey to black interior swap. 87-89 Turbo fiberglass rear spoiler. 87-89 3rd brakelight. 85T rear center panel "300ZX Turbo". 85T (factory smoked) taillights. 84-85 Turbo front spoiler. 84-85 Turbo hood scoop. Headlights down while on "modification". Installed all appropriate stock 1984 300ZX Turbo badging. Zenetti Valeo 17x8 e20 wheels with 245-40-17 Yokohama AVS intermediates. 88 Turbo 16X7 e30 wheels with 225-50-16 Kumho Ecsta MX's 85 Turbo 15x6.5 e30 wheels with 225-50-15 Kumho Victoracer V700 race tires. Custom made rear false floor/cargo cover hides subwoofer, amp and nitrous bottle from view. Ashtray cut out to hold Greddy Profec B Spec 2 electronic boost controller. Pioneer DEH-P7200 Head unit. JBL Loud & Clear 120W bridged amp running a single 10" Fosgate Punch Z subwoofer in a small custom box I made. Polk Audio EX3 6.5" speakers with swivel tweeters. Front speaker grilles removed and holes enlarged, aftermarket grilles installed. |
